Paying Your Utility Bill

Mail or Walk-In

There are several convenient ways to pay your utility bill. You may send your payment via the U.S. Postal Service. Bill payment is also accepted each weekday (excluding holidays) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m at:

Please bring your bill with you for the most efficient service.

Drop Box

There is also a convenient drop box located in the parking lot behind City Hall. Payments at City Hall can be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card. The most convenient method of payment is by bank draft. Simply sign-up at City Hall and the amount due each month will be automatically debited from your account. You may also pay your bill online.

All bills are due upon receipt and will be assessed a 10% late fee if paid after the due date. There is a $150 fee charged for meter tampering.

New Service

Application for new service must be made in person at City Hall. Please print and complete the application for utility services (PDF) and bring it to City Hall any weekday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. A deposit is required for all premises occupied by someone other than the owner. Deposit amounts:

  • Water only - $50
  • Gas Only - $100
  • Both water and gas - $150

Discontinue Service

You must come to City Hall to discontinue service or to make a change in service. You will need to provide a forwarding address before your utility service account will be terminated.
