To prepare for and in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the City of Waynesboro will be closing its Administration Department lobby during the pandemic. Utility, tax and other customers are encouraged to pay their bills online. You may access your account by visiting www.waynesboroga.com and clicking on "Online Payments" in the bottom left corner. We accept payments online by check or credit card. You may also use the drop-box on the south side of City Hall. Customers should put cash or checks and their bill stub in an envelope before placing it in the box. If you do not have exact change, excess payments will still be credited to your account to leave a credit balance. You are still welcome to contact City Hall at (706) 554-8000. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Municipal court dates scheduled for March 23rd and April 13th have been postponed. Contact the Waynesboro Police Department for new dates at 706-554-8029.

It is important to note that the City of Waynesboro is still open. We may limit access or change access; however, we are still here to serve you. We want to take precautions to protect our employees, our citizens and our community. The City recommends that all citizens follow the CDC recommendations to postpone and/or cancel meetings and events of 50 or more people, when large groups of older citizens or immunocompromised citizens are prone to gather, or where social distancing or separation can not be practiced. Please visit the Center for Disease Control website at www.cdc.gov for vital up-to-date information. Please remember that essential services such as police, fire, water, sewer, natural gas, solid waste and transportation will always remain open. We will adjust our response to this situation as needed based on the recommendations of State and Federal experts. There is no need to panic. Please take care of yourself and your family.
If you have questions, please contact City Hall at 706-554-8000. You can also follow the "City of Waynesboro, GA - Government" Facebook page or visit our website at www.waynesboroga.com for further updates.
