On behalf of the Waynesboro Police Department, I would like for you to know that our department is committed to community policing. We enjoy getting out and visiting with all of our local businesses, residents and visitors to our city. We are here to make sure our communities and businesses are safe. We strive to demonstrate professionalism, dedication and service as well as transparency. We work hard to earn the trust and confidence of our citizens and governance. We do not take that lightly and work daily to continue to earn it. Know that we are here to protect and serve the city of Waynesboro to the best of our ability.

The primary mission of the Waynesboro Police Department is to create and maintain a partnership with our employees, citizens, business and community leaders and others, who choose to live, work, visit, and learn in our community and to protect life and property, solve societal problems, and enhance social, environmental, economic, and educational opportunities for all.
