PUBLIC HEARINGS ON INTENTION TO OPT OUT OF ADJUSTED PROPERTY TAX HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION
The City of Waynesboro City Council announces its intention to opt out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption for the City of Waynesboro District and announces the three required public hearings as part of that process.
Georgia law requires three public hearings to be held to allow the public an opportunity to express their opinions on Waynesboro intent to opt out of the adjusted property tax homestead exemption.
All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearings on City of Waynesboro intent to opt out of the adjusted property tax homestead exemption to be held at the City of Waynesboro, 615 N Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia, on the following dates:
- February 6, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
- February 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
- February 13, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
