Please contact City Hall at (706) 554-8000 if you misplace your bill or don't receive it. Failure to receive the bill does not exempt you from payment, late charges, or disconnect.

All bills are due upon receipt and are considered late after the due date posted on the bill. Bills paid after the due date will be assessed a 10% late fee. Service can be disconnected if bill is not paid in full by due date.Administration

Download a building permit application or pick one up at City Hall where the required fee is paid. Contractors must have a State of Georgia license and proof of contractor’s insurance. The intent of the inside-out grant program is to encourage private investment in appropriate improvements in downtown commercial structures. Applications for the grants can be obtained through the Downtown Development Authority at which time applicants will be advised on the application procedure. The burning of trash, leaves, pine straw, or rubbish of any sort is prohibited in the city limits of Waynesboro. Burke County residents may call the local Georgia Forestry Office at (706) 554-2310 for burn permit information for county locations. You may also get a burn permit online at www.gatrees.org or by calling 1-877-OK2-BURN.

Fill out an Application for Utility Services and bring the application to City Hall along with the deposit required and driver's license for identification purposes. Gas deposit is $50, water is $15, poly-kart is $10, plus a $3 cut on fee for a total of $78.
